I am fascinated by the differences that separate one man from another, as well as by the underlying truth that unites them. I feel closest to another person when I am drawing the outline of their faces--as I trace the ridge of a nose, the plump underside of a lip, etc. 



​Drawing is a way for me not only  to connect with those around me, but also to explore and understand myself in a new way.
